Thermodynamic simulation modeling analysis and experimental research of vertical ultrasonic vibration assisted EDM

چکیده
Compared with traditional EDM, ultrasonic vibration assisted EDM (UEDM) shows better performance in machining efficiency and surface quality. However, the material removal process of UEDM is complex, there are many influencing factors. It difficult to describe accurately. In this study, based on voltage variation during processing combined heat transfer theory, model TC4 titanium alloy under condition single pulse vertical established. The different amplitudes analyzed. quality amplitude verified by experiments. best rate (MRR) can be obtained adjusting current amplitude, which improve UEDM.
